Elizabeth served as chief Clerk for the Metro Nashville Government, managing the Metro Council's legislation and Mayors' Executive Orders. She has managed several Metro boards and commissions, including the Metro Zoning Appeals Board.
She's a graduate of Vanderbilt University, and has been licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 2010.
Elizabeth has extensive experience with research and advocacy. She managed the Metro Charter and Code publication, and maintained the city's historical records archives. She's been successful in court through her attention to detail and familiarity with the law. She has practiced in federal courts and the Tennessee Court of Appeals. Elizabeth does not shy away from a challenge.
Before becoming an attorney, Elizabeth spent 6 years working in General Sessions and State Trial Courts with victims of domestic and sexual abuse as well as persons being supervised for felony convictions. With 20 years' experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds, she is committed to facilitating lasting solutions to the issues her clients face.
